This particular client wanted sleepers and a substantial look to his garden.  It was an ideal way of terracing his sloping garden.

His brief was for his garden to have a patio, to be of usable levels, for a pond and waterfall to be incorporated in the design, and to be low maintenance.

Full use was made of sleepers by using them to retain the terraces, to build a pond and rill.  A pergola was built over what was an unused sideway, which led to the side of his garage, to bring it in as part of the garden.
